Had it worked, we would have raved about the experience at Kula Lodge but since it didn't, we have mixed feelings about putting up with the rather spartan accomodations at Kula. It was nice. It was as advertised, simple and quaint.When we go to Kula we eat at Kula Bistro. The artichoke is the bomb!!! Grilled and served with cheese and greens, a must try. However, we ordered the margarita pizza twice and it was not like we had it before. Usually there is sauce, cheese, tomato and basil. The pizza came out with little sauce, little cheese and sparse tomatoes. The Kula Lodge offers Rustic Lodging with magnificent views. We have a full service restaurant and marketplace on site.
