Normally on most cars, there is a switch on the light itself which allows you to control whether you want the light to come on or not. This one doesn't have such a switch. The AC fan that cuts in when the compressor cuts in to cool the condensor which is mounted in front of the engine radiator will cut in and out at roughly eight second intervals when the AC is on.
